An exciting initiative to bring more ladies into the game of golf, is returning for a second year at St Annes Old Links.

A series of Lady Beginner Golf Classes will take place,  indoors at St Annes YMCA from Saturday 18 February 2012.

The classes are open to Ladies over the age of 18, who are interested in trying a new sport and meeting new people.

The groups sessions of 12 ladies per group, will then be held fortnightly on a Saturday from 1.30pm – 2.30pm.

This is a great opportunity for ladies to learn a new sport in friendly and warm surroundings, and meet new like minded ladies. It is especially great this year, being the year of Golf for Lytham St Annes and ladies will be able to be associated with the final local qualifying course for The Open Championship this summer.

And if that’s not enough motivation, golf is also a great way of developing your health, and you can burn up to 300 calories an hour playing the game!

We will have 2 PGA coaches, and an accomplished lady member at each of the sessions, to ensure the ladies are helped every step of the way.

The 4 week course will cost £20.00 and is payable on the first lesson.

The course starting on the 18 February runs fortnightly, so the second lesson would be the 3 March and so on. All equipment is provided, and places are limited so please call The Pro shop at St Annes Old Links on 01253 722432 to book your place.
