The Golf Studio offers an indoor coaching facility equipped with the latest “state of the art” video coaching system giving you the opportunity to see your swing for yourself, making it even easier for you to understand any changes necessary. 

This system has helped Daniel acheive the “Foremost Registered Performance Centre” status for the Pro Shop, one of only a handful in the UK. 

Daniel is also a custom-fitting expert for Titleist, Ping, Taylormade, Calloway and Nike equipment. The Golf Studio provides a superb environment to make sure your equipment is right for you. Using GC2 LAUNCH MONITOR technology, the professional staff can determine your club head speed, spin rate and launch angle. This information can then be used to determine the correct club, shaft or ball to get the best results on the golf course. 

PGA Professional Golf Coaching 

The Golf Studio is a fantastic addition to the exisiting coaching services already offered by Daniel Webster and his professional staff at St.Annes Old Links GC. Giving you the option of indoor coaching when the weather is bad, The Golf Studio complements the outdoor coaching available on either the club’s driving range, short game area, putting green or on the course itself, depending what you need to improve your game. 

Daniel has 18 years of golf coaching experience and has worked with beginner golfers through to tour professionals, county players and England Internationals. He has also set up group coaching sessions for Lancashire organisations, Lady Learners and Juniors, including golf outreach sessions in local primary and special needs schools. His vast experience is evident in his coaching and the resultant scores his clients go on to acheive. He will certainly help you get the best out of your golf. 

Coaching Costs

All coaching sessions with Daniel Webster, PGA Head Professional cost £40.00 per hour. 

Daniel has also launched a “Commitment To Improve (C.T.I)” programme which ensures you get regular monthly coaching, online coaching support, text message reminder service and free C.T.I coaching clinics. Prices start at £40.00 per month for this programme. 

PGA Assistant Coaching Sessions are £20.00 per session.

These sessions are with PGA Assistants Jonathan Moss or David Dorans. Book 5 sessions and get the 6th session free. £20 per coaching session.

I’m now into my 3rd concurrent lesson with Dan of which I went to establish a proper swing to enjoy my golf more. We have had all the lessons in the Golf Studio which brings a whole new dynamic to how he can observe your game.
In the first month we pulled my swing back to the most basic of drills getting use to turning my hands over and started to end the dreaded chicken wing which caused my shots to go at right angles. 

After a month of doing the drills Dan issued to me I started to get a lot of confidence and enjoyment back into my game, which alone is priceless. We stepped the lesson up to adding more complexities to the swing to exaggerate draw. Again The Golf Studio helped this again with angles to monitor swing as well as the device to measure ball spin and speed, and to add to this we finished the exercise playing nearest to the pin. This showed how well the lessons were advancing and again only added to the enjoyment and relaxed session of the lesson and my confidence. 

In between this and the next lesson Dan was approachable enough to help me when I asked about a particular concern I had, as I was going a bit backwards, in a 5 minute of a pointer so I was back to where I needed to be. 

At the next lesson my swing had improved to the extent we were happy to leave my long game on the driving range with all the drills Dan had taught me and went onto the short game and another drill to take away and practice. 

I can only say the patience I felt with Dan was top class and when he could see I was getting frustrated and then relaxing the atmosphere during the lesson was unbeatable and the ideas he had on how to correct my swing were invaluable

Just a quick note to say thanks very much for my recent golf lesson in the Studio. I’ve been playing for about six years now, but this was my first ever lesson. I didn’t really know what to expect and was a bit worried that a very dodgy swing would be embarrasingly exposed. However I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The video playback made it really easy to understand your expert advice, even for a novice like me, and it quickly showed one or two fundamentals to work on. 

I’ve still got a long way to go, but I feel that I’ve improved already and even my regular partners (Phil Stones, Chris Walton and Colin Greenall) have reduced their mickey taking…………..well they might do soon!

Daniel, Just thought I’d drop you a line to thank you for the recent advice you gave me in your Golf Studio when I used your custom fitting service. As you know I was considering changing my Callaway X12 irons but I wasn’t 100% certain which irons I should buy. After lending me half a dozen demo clubs of all shapes and sizes I was amazed to find out that I was better suited to steel shafts than the graphite shafts I had been using for the last 10 years. Not only was my clubhead speed increased but the steel shafts have now overcome my tendancy to hook my iron shots and I’m now hitting much straighter shots. 

It was fascinating to see the different trajectories of the ball when trying different irons, shafts and clubface lie. With this information you were able to select the best shaft for me, the correct length and lie of the clubs and even a slightly thicker grip which had not even crossed my mind! 

Prior to coming down I checked prices of the Ping irons on the internet and the price you quoted me was better than the internet. 

I would say that any member would benefit from half an hour in your Golf Studio. It was a real eye opener!
